I hold a master’s in marine and coastal management, and a bachelor’s in marine science.
My master’s thesis is titled “Investigating associations between pack management strategies and the intestinal microbiota in Greenland sled dogs (Canis lupus familiaris borealis): a One Health approach.” The thesis uses Greenland sled dogs as a window into parasite transmission in the coastal Arctic. The thesis was submitted in March, 2024, and passed without revisions in April, 2024. You can read more about the project here.
I graduated Cum Laude from Boston University’s Kilachand Honors College in May, 2017 with a double major in Marine Science, and Earth and Environmental Sciences, with a concentration in Ecology and a minor in Biology. My undergraduate thesis was titled “The Adaptive Capacity of the Turneffe Atoll, Belize, Queen Conch Fishery.” You can watch the thesis presentation here.
